Villar Farm Schools help cultivate modern Filipino farmers

Villar SIPAG farm school located in the boundary of Las Pinas City and Bacoor city.  Aside from this farm school, there are 18 farm schools in NCR; 244 in Region 4-A; 124 in Region 4-B; and 133 in Region 5.  These farm schools cater to farmers in NCR, Southern Luzon, and Bicol.

Senator Cynthia Villar, chairperson of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Food, together with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), has set up an aquaponics facility to benefit a community in Las Piñas, where the senator has also put up a vegetable garden.
